totally. and i should admit that i didn't throw him exactly :). i actually held him and walked in with the little tender fluffy, but he freaked. eventually, he got gently plopped into the water and encouraged to make it back to the stairs on his own. i can't wait to see him try it again!
*Reads a few articles on that site, bookmarks it to listen to the stories a little later...* (Oh, and please, may I promote this elsewhere, too? These are the horrifying tales you'll never hear on, oooh, FOX News, just f'r'instance - and it's important news. Thanks for passing it on.)
As for the x-rated stuff... If you could pass on a little (or more) of THAT sort of your work, I'd yell a big "YES PLEASE THANKYOU!". My psyche needs it for a number of reasons! Cheers.

yeah my dog donesn't really like the beach either, and i threw her in the pool once and she freaked out too. although i can't let my dog off the lead in public so she can't really go swimming anyway

hey is that because she's aggressive or 'cause she runs away? my dog runs off into the distance and doesn't come back unless he's bribed. i've been working on it even though that's basically what he's been bred for. what kind of dog do you have?

ummm, she does run away so im always scared she won't come back or get hit by a car or something but im also worried that she will get into a fight with a dog. She is quite big and could really do some damage

And, regarding your first link, I'll be in East London next week for THIS: The World's Largest Arms Fair. Well worth coming out for, I think!
Congrats on your doggy paddle! :)
