The first week (and the first year) are big and overwhelming, and everything else aside, it's a huge change from what you've been doing and where you've been. Just remember that they accepted you for a reason - they thought you were good enough, which means you are. So there.
Do be aware of the overcommitment; I don't know what the program there is like specifically, but I suspect it's plenty to swamp you even without the outside work.

You are freaking out and making it look daunting in your mind, do what you do and rise to the occasion. I believe I remember someone saying "Never cease to function" or something like that, get over the anxiety and get to work! Once you start the less it will seem so daunting.
oh and while I'm not exactly the person you want one from *HUGS* anyway.

School's always shit the first week... even @ a PhD level... you'll get yourself sorted out and you'll kick ass.
