Try to keep a healthy balance between the two...sometimes rather distinct sides of his personality. Normal - if incredibly overprotective - and loving father and regular man vs...the guy who doesn't have remorse about cutting you open and removing your organs. :|;
The...exact balance, of course, depends on when you take him from canon and if there's a Shilo around - though I really don't think one is necessary, or anything.

also no incest plz. :(

But speaking of Shilo's, there's one seeking advince down below?~

As well as the loving protective husband and father, and Repo, there is the father who wants something so badly he would harm his daughter to save it; there is the husband who did not save his wife, though it is suggested he could have done so. There is something in him besides protection, something in him besides the primal repossession. There is more to balance than two sides of his character.

Supernatural: Castiel anonymous February 7 2009, 21:52:48 UTC
How do you deal with a situation in which an angel loses all or most of his powers without being... boring?

Let's face it: what makes Castiel interesting is not only his boyish( host)'s features, but also his power of knowing. I've played him somewhere once, and I didn't know how to deal with it. Had to drop.

Has anyone played him?

I should also include that his powers in general are badass.

Instead of focusing on his lack of powers, why not focus on his gaining human emotions? Seems like it would be the most important/compelling aspect of the whole thing, and would lead to tons of development. Not to mention you could also use the lack of powers as being a huge shock to his system, etc.

I dunno, seems like there's some awesome potential there.

Sebastian is heavily dependent on whether or not you have a Ciel in your game. In fact, it could be said that it would be impossible to play him without a Ciel, because there's no way he would ever allow anything to come between him and his master. However, it could be said that he would lose Ciel as his master upon arriving at xxgame and would be able to do as he pleases. Because we haven't seen this side of him but very brief glimpses, he would almost become an OC at this point--unfortunately, most of what we've seen of this character in the manga up until this point is all a charade, and his true personality remains to be seen ( ... )

thank you for the response ♥

i'm pretty hesitant about playing him since i'm not sure i'd be able to handle a character like him, but i'll keep this in mind if i ever do try him out.

Sure thing, haha. I was really hesitant to pick him up, too. I read the manga twice and took notes as I went along. *nerd*

Anise Tatlin from Tales of the Abyss anonymous February 7 2009, 21:55:10 UTC
Just in general.

Anise is a fairly complicated character, so it's hard to get all her nuances together in the right proportions. First thing to remember is she is not only cute. Some of it's innate, yeah, but mostly she uses it as a cover for poking fun at people. At heart, she's a troll. Playing her is all about keeping a balance between her appearance and her intent. Also despite her talk she's a kid, so keep that in mind too. Another thing is that she's not just greedy, either. Her motivation is for her parents. She DOES love money, a lot, but she's doing it all for Oliver and Pamela. She feels very guilty over her betrayal of the party and a post-Ion Anise should have to deal with those issues. Still, despite this, Anise is not above tricking people to get what she wants or just for fun. If you have a Jade in your game, make good use of her friendship with him. Also, tease people mercilessly while being adorable.

...I hope that made some kind of sense to you, anon. It's hard to summarize her.
