I'm the kind of RPer who's really reliant on e-mail notifications, especially when tagging in situations where "tag" "tag" "tag" IMs aren't always possible (school, low battery, etc).

So I really hate LJ's e-mail notif screw up right now. /kicks LJ

What was the point of DOSing LiveJournal, of all things? It's not like it's an extremely important site or something. On top of that, the attack hardly did anything.

I'm in a sex RP...

and I haven't written a single sex log, made any effort to shack my char up with anyone and have no interest in actually writing out a sex log at any point during my stay in this game.

I don't like writing smut and joined this game completely on a whim. I've grown to really enjoy the premise and the (non sexual/romantic) interactions my character gets.

Does this make me a bad person? :(

Sup chickens.

I've got a problem, maybe you can help. A single-fandom game I'm in has been bitten by the wank bug. It's not the first time and usually we're very good at sweeping the problem under the rug and waiting for the problem player to just decide to drop. Not exactly the nicest method but... It's just what happens.

This wank however, it stemming from the actions of a mod. The other mod is all "omg if you have a problem with someone just PM me and I'll deal with it" and... Well, the mods are pretty close and it's the kind of environment that fuels that "omg how dare you say that about my friend, you're lying, you're wrong, get out of my RP".

I really enjoy the game, I enjoy many of the people I play with... What the hell do I do? It's getting really hard for me to play there, I'm growing very uncomfortable.

Stage a mass exodus? Epic call out post on the OOC comm? Wait for the proper anonmeme to see how much support I have regarding the issue?

I suggest waiting for the anon meme. That way you can test the waters without starting shit unnecessarily. Sort of gauge how to best deal with the problem without immediately committing to it.

what above anon said. the anon meme is coming soon. so i'd start a thread and weigh your options carefully. if you have the support of the whole playerbase, well... the mods can't exactly "OMG BAN!" you all, can they? and if need be, slip away from the game in the quiet of the night.
