I like #1 on dog behavior myths (dogs are naturally pack animals). Does that mean that the social order in wolves is generational, and passed down through learning?

That's really really interesting. Those old studies on captive animals remind me of those old studies of scared captive giraffes from your class.

So basically, The Dog Whisperer is full of shit?

I'm not exactly sure what is the deal about having two different cards combined (igo / chicago card plus ) into one card, it didn't appear that there were any kind of discounds. I carry both my Zipcar and Metro cards wherever I go and it isn't too much of a hassle. What I find really cool is all the mini cards they have now which you can put on a key rings which I feel saves me a lot of space and time. I have mini-cards for two grocery stores, two libraries, and one drugstore.

Mini cards are great! Its much harder (impossible?) to forget a card when its attatched to my keys.

You're right. I think the only real benefit for someone currently using both services is that you have 1 less card to carry around.

However, depending on how they market it, the publicity could be really good for igo. Igo has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past couple of years, but still (I would think) is used by only a small percentage of people in Chicagoland. I would think that being able to promote that you're associated with something like the CTA could potentially be good for business and especially increasing name recognition, depending on how they advertise.
