The BIGGEST ENTRY EVER!!!!

Aug 18, 2006 00:19

A few of you have been wondering how my trip in Seattle went...and I know a special someone from Des Moines who is anxiously awaiting this entry ;0D (By the way this special someone I have become completely obsessed with Aioria! BEST BAND EVER!!! Well one of them!)

DAY 1

So I landed in the lovely Seattle-Tacoma airport after a four hour flight. Wasn't too bad! I watched the rest of Project Runway season one and drew pictures in Flash. It was quite amusing because everyone sitting around me kept peeking over at my computer hehehe

Emi and I reunited and I finally met TSUKASA! (her boyfriend) He is such a wonderful person! I really like him a lot!!

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. We just lounged around her house, went on a walk, and played some video games.

DAY 2

AWESOME DAY! It was Emi's birthday! We went downtown in Seattle (she actually lives in a suburb outside of Seattle called Des Moines...VERY close to Seattle though!) One of her friends Elise came with us! She was awesome too! She was very fun and spunky and I loved her hair ;0D We went to Uwajimaya (I hope I spelled that right haha) which is the international district. We ate at a Ramen shop and went into the actual Uwajimaya store thingie.

Left to right: Elise, Emi, Tsukasa

DELICIOUS SEAFOOD RAMEN!!!
We browsed the bookstore a bit and I got cute folders! Then afterwards we went into the grocery store and bought lots of food for Emi's party! INCLUDING STUFF TO MAKE TAKOYAKI!!!!!!!!!!!!! MMMMM!

When we got back we got some stuff ready and dressed up in our Yukata! It was a lot of fun to actually assemble them right haha Tsukasa helped us by translating a Japanese site haha

Only Emi, her friend Katie, and I dressed in official Yukata!

Emi also made a DELICIOUS CAKE!!! I put the bananas around the middle :0D

It was tons of fun! We played games and chatted AND I GAVE EMI HER BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!

INCLUDING:

THE PRINCE!

DAY 3

We went downtown again! This time we went to Pike Place Market and the Aquarium AND TO A DELICIOUS SEAFOOD RESTARAUNT! THEN WE MADE TAKOYAKI WHEN WE GOT BACK!!! I'll just let the pictures speak for what we did!

MODEST OCTOPUS!

HUNGRY OCTOPUS!

DAY 4

Another trip downtown! THIS TIME TO SHOP!
I freaking spent like $300...oops!
I bought so much rad stuff though! We WALKED EVERYWHERE THOUGH!
We went to this really ritzy mall and since we were dressed up we were treated like Queens.
A GUY AT TIFFANYS COMPLIMENTED MY CHEAP KOHL'S NECKLACE! IT WAS AMAZING! HAHAHA!
Then we went to Broadway! It was awesome! I saw some love shoes, but they were too big :0( Last pair was size 14 Ew.
I DID GET AN AMAZING BAG THOUGH!

It was $62, but SO WORTH IT! It's my new love bag!

I got so many other things, but I don't have pictures haha just imagine all the cutest Japanese things and a lot of fashionable things and there you go!

OH I TOTALLY GOT AN ADVENT CHILDREN JAPANESE/ENGLISH BOOK!!! AND A VALKYRIE PROFILE ILLUSTRATION AND WORLD BOOK COMBO!!!! AMAZING LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!

We also saw the SILLIEST THING EVER!
It's called a pee-pee tee-pee!
It goes over the little babies penis so he doesn't pee all over the mom!
hahaha I love the little dangling ball on the circus hat looking one haha

TEXT SAYS:
Changing a baby girl is not all glitz and glory
Changing a baby boy is even a bigger story
You hold his feet with one hand and change his diaper with the other
The whole time praying ‘please don’t pee on your mother.’
Introducing the Pee-pee Tee-pee which you simply place on his wee-wee
This cone shaped cloth product makes diaper changes dry and easy.

DAY 5
We went to Mt Rainer Park! IT WAS GORGEOUS! Again I will let the pictures speak for it all :0D

Afterwards we went to Emi's cousin's party. It was so funny because they were really otakuish, but hey...I would be too if I was that age and had friends actually interested in video games and anime with me! Or would I...hrmm I dunno hahaha Her cousin is a really nice person. I like her tons! She did have a creepy friend that kept touching Emi, Tsukasa, and I. ESPECIALLY TSUKASA!!! OH MY GOODNESS! She was OBSESSED WITH HIM! She took his picture a few times and kept saying how adorable he was :0/

We took our own pictures and had fun!

MOST EMBARRASSSSSING PICTURE OF ME EVER!!!! But I am secure enough with myself to show you ;0D

DAY 6

We went to church and then picked TONS OF BLACKBERRIES!
Then Emi's cousin and aunt came over and we played an import Naruto fighting game hahaha
Never watched Naruto, but that game rocked hard core!

DAY 7

TSUKASA LEFT!!! IT WAS SO SADDDDD!!! :0(
Emi and I still managed to enjoy our evening afterwards though! we went to the marina and had a lot of fun. We also watched TONS of movies and went on a really nice walk and chatted. It was very pleasant and I think it brought us closer together. I love my Emi :0D

BOOBIE GRABBING FISHERMAN!!!

DAY 8

MY GOODBYE DAY!!! :0(

We watched a movie and Emi loaded my computer with J-rock mmmm SO WONDERFUL OF HER!
We had a nice good bye and I am totally going to go back1!!!

Yeah so the end kinda died out, but we walked everywhere and did so many things the first few days we just wanted to chill at home and enjoy each other's company the last couple days!

I hope you enjoyed hahaha

OH!
I also managed to get a picture of that space needle thingie...whatever it is...who goes to Seattle to see that unknown thing anyways? hahaha
