I kept on switching back and forth between characters. Some of your positive traits and the snarkiness really make me want to say characters like Sigrun, Shale, and Anders, but none of them get particularly temperamental or emotional. I even considered Alistair as he fits the witty/emotional combo the best, but he's not so keen on intellectual interests.

After bolding some of the above names only to keep on reconsidering, I think I'll be semi-random and say Ariane from Witch Hunt. She fits the snarkiness aspect (some of her banter with Finn seriously made me lol), enjoys learning new things (specifically, loves finding lost information about the elves, but it seems to extend to other information as well), and is reserved without being overly introverted or extroverted. She's pretty assertive and stubborn, as well as sensitive and compassionate... which leads her to be rather opinionated, temperamental at times, and openly express her emotions. She's more cautious, but tends to speak her mind... More calm than energetic, isn't ( ... )

Regrettably, since I haven't played DA:O yet (gah, my copy is just begging me to be played at the moment though! XD)...I'm finding this theme a little hard to vote on, since several of the characters that I know more information about come from the first game and I wasn't really thinking of any of them as being perfect fits. After reading the_404_error's explanation behind voting her, and reading more about her on her wiki page--I think I'm leaning more towards an Ariane vote as well ( ... )

Hmm i am not very good with this theme so i had to read a bit before going for this, i think that i agree with the two comments above me and go with Ariane, she definitly suits your personality, assertive and stubborn, temperamental at times but sensitive and cautious C:

I'm putting in a vote for Ariane. She fits the snarky and sarcastic side of your personality quite well, and your answers to the "either/or" questions fit. She's not aggressive, but she's not willing to be a doormat, either. She's calm and capable, yet she's not so duty driven that she wouldn't want to have a little fun now and then. "Neutral Good" describes her exactly.

After reading your app and the descriptions (sorry, I haven't played the game yet) I kept thinking back to Sigrun. It says she's good humoured and you seem that way, too. What you said in your personality bit made me think of her, with needing something to hold onto instead of drifting about aimlessly. Oh, and you mention books a few times in here, too. A lot of your answers to the and/or questions made me think of her, too.
