Ah. I ran through my mental list of characters and although he wasn't who I thought of at first, I really want to go with Alistair in the end. He's naive and good-hearted and playful, and I think he lacks a lot of self-confidence - especially when it comes to leadership, which you also stated you don't want. A lot of his humour is rather self-deprecating, which to me implies someone who's not really certain of his abilities. He's one of the more emotional characters but he can appear stoic at times, especially if he's trying to cope, but more often than not it kind of shows through

I did have a few other characters in mind, but while I was playing through the remaining origin stories before writing the descriptions, I even thought of you while I had Soris is my party. He seems rather withdrawn and even a little shy around those he isn't that familiar with, though he's more open around his friends and family. (i.e. He has no problem talking with the main character, his cousin) He can face his problems, but he normally needs someone else to follow the lead of. (I.e. He's extremely reluctant about the whole arranged marriage bit, but doesn't try to protest about it. He does help save some of his friends and family when they're captured, but he tends to follow the main character throughout it.) He's understanding, polite, observant, and caring... I'd even say the "forgive and forget" mentality can apply to him in a way, as he doesn't seem to mind one way or the other if you extract vengeance on Vaughan and is mainly interested in helping his sister. He's more cautious, tends to show his emotions (yet doesn't make a

Since I'm not overly familiar with many of the characters in DA I tried to look them up...and I can definitely see Alistair in the description of him as being a viable option, then I read the_404_error's vote and decided to look up some info on Soris and I think he'd be a slightly better fit for your overall application! From what I've been able to gather about his character, your general personality description seems like a good fit for him (as do your positive traits: Caring, observant, creative, playful, polite, and understanding). He seems to be kind of reserved, but can speak more openly with family and friends...and seems like he's more comfortable following a leader than being one himself (although he is capable of it!)...and he seems like the type of character to prefer a blend of traditional/unconventional methods too. From what I've been able to gather from his character, Soris seems like a good fit for your answers to the more DA-specific questions as well! :)
I would have gone with Alistair if the Soris votes hadn't been brought up. He (Soris) isn't very outgoing around those he's unfamiliar with, but when he's around family or friends he opens up. He has a more positive view on life, and wants to help those around him. All of your positive traits could be used to describe him as well.
Well, the first character that came to mind was Alistair, so that's my vote.
You just sound so nice that I couldn't help myself. Your brief description of your personality reminds me very much so of the paragraph on the character description page. One example: the naive tendencies. I can also see your positive traits as quite appropriate, though I can't say much in response to your negative traits given that they're... out of place. Anyways, you consider yourself a follower (the same as Alistair). I can also see similarities in Traditional/Unconventional. You're a blend of both, while Alistair's apparently not religious, yet retains many traditional beliefs from the Chantry. I honestly don't see much in your application that doesn't fit his personality.
