Name: Merci
Previous Stamps: None

Give a brief description of your personality: INFJ (since I've seen so many apps state their MBTI type) and 9 for Enneagram type.

INFJ -- Beneath the quiet exterior, INFJs hold deep convictions about the weightier matters of life. INFJs are champions of the oppressed and downtrodden. INFJs may fantasize about getting revenge on those who victimize the defenseless. The concept of 'poetic justice' is appealing to the INFJ. INFJs are not easily led. These are the people that you can rarely fool any of the time. Though affable and sympathetic to most, INFJs are selective about their friends.

INFJs have a knack for fluency in language and facility in communication. In addition, nonverbal sensitivity enables the INFJ to know and be known by others intimately.

Writing, counseling, public service and even politics are areas where INFJs frequently find their niche.

Enneagram Type: 9 - The peacemaker -- Nines are accepting, trusting, and stable. They are usually creative, optimistic, and supportive, but can also be too willing to go along with others to keep the peace. They want everything to go smoothly and be without conflict, but they can also tend to be complacent, simplifying problems and minimizing anything upsetting. They typically have problems with inertia and stubbornness. At their Best: indomitable and all-embracing, they are able to bring people together and heal conflicts.

List some of your positive traits: Strong, creative, empathetic, a listener, easy to get along with, helpful (I'll go out of my way to help someone), considerate, non-judgmental/accepting, I'm pretty good at writing, I'm also very good at hunting down information and avoiding conflict/arguments/negative social situations.

... and some of your negative traits: Avoidant, spiteful, I'll put myself out for others to the point of really annoying/hurting/upsetting myself, procrastinator, I sabotage myself because I'm afraid of success. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, too.

What are your interests?: Writing, reading, organizing things, learning new things (through books or interesting documentaries), history,
... and your dislikes?: Animal cruelty, negativity, deceit/lies (if a lie is a plot point in a movie, then I'll stop watching. It makes me so uncomfortable to watch it unfold), insensitive people, people who display no empathy for others, lazy people who do a half-assed job and I'm left fixing their shit. People who use others.

Are you more...

Outgoing or Reserved: Reserved (but if I'm with someone with high energy, then I pick up on that and become more outgoing. All part of the INFJ/9 thing)
Energetic or Calm: Calm (but with the potential to be energetic over things that excite me)
Cautious or Impulsive: Cautious
Stoic or Emotional: Emotional :/
Peaceful or Aggressive: Peaceful (I avoid arguments/negativity like the plague, if I can)
Confident or Insecure: Confident, but prone to second-guessing myself if I try something new
Leader or Follower: Second-in-command ftw. I'll lead if I have to, but I prefer to be in a support role (usually lending emotional support to the leader)
Optimistic, Pessimistic, or Realistic: Optimistic realism. I look on the bright side of life.
Traditional or Unconventional: Unconventional.

You've been enlisted into the Grey Wardens! A life of being bound to fight monsters... How would you feel about this? Fuck, I hate being controlled by others. I'd resent being forced into it, even though fighting monsters would help others. My spite would probably rear its ugly head here and I'd do what I could to avoid it or hurt them for forcing me into it.

After joining, would you feel it necessary to focus almost entirely on your duties when the world is being threatened? Or would you rather try to have fun when you can? I'd try to have fun. All work and no play makes Merci a dull girl. Plus, them forcing me into it and then telling me I had to focus all my energy on something? Rebel! (If only in my imagination.)

Do you prefer to experience new things or stick with what you know? I stick with what I know. Then again, if a friend invited me along on an adventure into something new, I'd go with them.

You get attacked by a group of bandits, and upon defeat they claim they were only trying to provide for their families. What do you do with them? Well, if I thought they were telling the truth, then I'd do what I could to help them. People can resort to desperate acts to help those they love. Maybe if I help them, they won't have to attack others anymore.
Of course, if they are lying (and I'm pretty good at reading others and picking up on deceit) then I'd show them no mercy. I despise deceit and that's such a sad thing to lie about! I don't know if I could kill someone that is begging, though, so I might just tie them up and leave them. (If they get out, then good for them. Otherwise, well, fresh food for the wild animals.)

After going through multiple dungeons and fighting countless battles, you discover that the ally you did all of this for really just wanted more power. They even plan to sacrifice those they consider incapable of being saved in the process! You did go this far for them, and they will undoubtedly be a powerful ally against your enemies threatening the whole world, but... Can you allow them to continue? Nope. They deceived me. I'm wounded beyond reckoning. If they lied to me, then how do I know that they're going to help me against the enemies that are threatening the world? I'd either confront them before they seize the power (I must know one or two of their weaknesses by this point!) and take them out, or pretend to be their ally and stop them later.
I'd still feel bad about it, of course, since I thought of them as an ally.

A great battle is going to be fought soon. What, if anything, do you do to prepare for it? I'd check with my leader to make sure that he or she has everything they need. I'd verify our supplies, our plans, etc. to make sure we're prepared, even though I'm sure others would have already done that. It doesn't hurt to have a second set of eyes to look over everything.

Eventually, your exploits become known and you're now a respected figure in society. How do you plan on using this influence, if at all? I don't know if I'd be comfortable using the influence at all. If anything, I'd lean on others to better the lives of people and animals.

(Optional section)
Have you played this game? If so, did you like it? I want to, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
(As it relates to this game's spiritual predecessor and is an unseen factor here) Which D&D-type alignment would you say fits you best? Neutral Good
Neutral Good is known as the "Benefactor" alignment. A Neutral Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would.
Examples of Neutral Good characters include Zorro, and Spider-Man.[7] The Neutral Good outsiders are known as Guardinals. -- Lifted from the Wikipedia article.

Are there any characters you don't want to get? Lol, no. Come at me!
