Hate is never a Christian value. The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility) and self-control. "Christians" whose fruits are hate, slander, violence, discrimination, and intolerance, well... I'd have to strongly question whether they are or ever were Christians in the first place. I simply do not see how a person, if they are truly filled with Christ, can be so un-Christlike.
