Yes. I sure as hell wasn't hungry. After all, I had spaghetti and meatballs...and a gourmet dinner. I just figured that cooking was a good way to get out of a tight situation. A tight situation involving dead silence, Spike, Wesley and Gunn. Imagine why I wanted out of there. I somehow managed to slip out of there, with only a few glares.

So it was just me and Charles Gunn. Talk about an exciting conversation.
"Wonder if they got the bloody troll toe yet."
I couldn't just stand here and be quiet. The silence was killing me.

"Should we go after him?"
Spike didn't move, and I guess that was his answer. Couldn't blame him all that much, Willow did pick Angel over him for the mission.
Then he mentioned the troll toe. "Don't know, probably fighting some big ass troll right now. Wishin' they had our help."
I sat down in a chair. "Oh, who am I kiddin'? Illyria's kickin' ass all over the place. They ought to be back any second now."

It wasn't that he didn't like Gunn, but he had just realized he was wasting an opportunity to talk to Buffy without tall, dark, and broody here.
He would kick himself later if he missed the opportunity altogether.

"Fine, I'll go and...walk around the house or somethin'...I see how you're looking at Buffy, gonna be a heck of contest to win her, Spike. I think she already has eyes for Angel."
Then he gives me this death glare like he's jump me and drain me right there. Except that would make Angel and Buffy mad, so he didn't. I had to smile.
"Come on Spike, all's fair in love and war. Go ahead, take your shot at Buffy, I won't stand in your way, man."
He then left, I walked after him, deciding to stake a stroll around the house, just to see what it looked like, I mean, I never saw the house of three witches before, so who knows what it might contain.
