What's hers is hers and what's his is his

Sitting there like something so helpless, your whole body starts to ache. The prosecutor obviously knew what he was doing, but did he even care about Julie's fate. My eye's stayed narrow the whole entire time. If it wasn't for julie sending me looks every once and a while, I would of orbed him to another dimension. A not so pleasant dimension that ( Read more... )

I knew exactly where Paige was going. I ran up the stairs after her catching her in the act.

"Stop right there witchy woman"

I said with a small smile, but a deep glare

I jumped as I saw Julie standing right there. I tried to smile back but there was no reason too. I lightly put the pin down and put my hand over the piece of paper. Looking at Julie I couldn't quite grasp what she was thinking right now. I've offered her help several times and yet she still resists. Arching an eyebrow and putting a hand on my hip I had to let her know what was up.

"Why?"

Pausing for a moment I tried read the expression on her face. I wondered why she wasn't as worked up over all of this. If I were in her shoes I would be a complete wreck. She was strong I give her that, but no matter how strong she is she needed help and I was going to give it to her. Turning my head I let out a sigh,

"It's nothing big, it's just a small spell on the prosecutor.."

I walked over and took her hand leading her to the couch.

She sat down and I looked her in the eyes.

"Paige, I am possibly going to jail for a very long time, that is something that I have learned to accept. I don't want to have magicks backfire again, they are kind of what got me here in the first place...well that and me running for fear of being loved. I am just saying that I don't want this to backfire, Darryl knows about you all and I am sure others do which means the prosecutor has something happen to him it will end up in our laps again...oh yeah and what about personal gain?"

Piper had explained all of that to me as the month before the trial passed and I was finally understanding that.

She brought up some very good points and I was even this close to caving in. I was getting way past the frustration part of this whole mess and I wanted to help no matter what the cost. I could see she was upset too and that made it much worse. Darryl was an interesting name to be brought, he hasn't even helped us out and refuses to take any part in it. Strictly by the book as always but I'm stay strict to the book of shadows. Taking my hand back I had to let her know ( ... )
