I couldn't believe how good it felt to be free of that place. They finally had to move me to an area that was more protected. Protected from the other inmates. I didn't know that they were also working on getting me released. Apperently after I told her not to, Paige did a spell. Don't get me wrong I am thankful, but I didn't want attention

I can't believe what a day we had. I was so happy. I spoiled her rotten and got to know her family a little. They were nice people and her brothers and sister were cute and friendly. She's so lucky to have them, and I'm so lucky to have them through her.

After spoiling her at the mall, we went home and crashed happily into bed. Well, after having some great sex we did. Man, but it's good between us. I can't get enough of her, she is just so amazing. I'm the luckiest guy in the universe right now.

I fell asleep holding her, and it seemed like no time before I could feel warm sun rays on my eyelids. I woke up slowly, and watched her still sleeping, my beautiful angel of a girl. I smiled, kissing her cheek as I still held her to me. Today could only be better than yesterday, I was sure of it.

I laid peacfully in his arms, for once I wasn't scared by the love he was showing me. I was so happy that he loves me..what made me happier was that my family accepted him. They met him and accepted him with no question and that meant a lot to me.

I was dreaming about that, about the life I had always wanted that was now mine and something pulled me out of it. I couldn't figure what was doing this to me till I felt someone watching me. I turned over and slowly opened my eyes to see Charles watching me.

"Morning"

I said softly through a tired smile.

"Been awake long?"

I asked as I sit up stretching.

"I could make us some breakfast..you know..if you are hungry."

I leaned down and kissed her soft, supple lips. "I haven't been awake long, just watching you sleep for a little while. And breakfast sounds great, baby. I think I'll take mine in bed, if you don't mind..."

I chuckled, kissing her again. I really couldn't get enough of her...this was so...perfect, I felt so good and I never wanted this feeling to go away.

"So what's the plan for today, besides you for breakfast?"

He had pulled me back to the bed and started kissing me again. I loved the way it felt to be like this. To be in love and safe. I could get used to this.

"I need to go by the manor..maybe talk to everyone, but definatly see Paige. I also need to go talk to Edward..I have just been avoiding him..not sure why though."

we laid there in peace for a while then I finally had to get up and shower. I let him make breakfast as I got cleaned up and then he went to clean up. I was just happy to feel like I was with the man of my dreams.

We had finally were ready to head to the manor. I knew that I needed to see everyone and thank everyone for their support. We walked out to the truck and I leaned on him as we walked. I was lost in his touch...and being in his arms.

"You gonna let me drive your truck again?"

I was in such a good mood that I gave her the keys. "You take care of my car, okay babe? No stunt driving." I said, chuckling.

I opened her door for her, kissed her, then let her get in and then I closed her door and went and got in the passenger side.

"Alright, let's go." I said cheerily. I was one happy man, and I wasn't going to let anything get me down today.

"I wouldn't ever hurt your truck...love you too much."

I said this with a wide smile. Then I saw someone in the mirror. It was Edward and Phoebe.

"Uh oh...need to talk to them."

I said softly

"Talk to who?" I asked, then turned and looked. "Oh, them...are you okay, Julie? Is there something I should know? I'll tell them to go away, if you want..."

I was unsure about what was going on here. I didn't think those two coming towards us were of any danger, but Julie seemed a bit frightened of them...she had quieted down considerably from the happy girl she was just seconds ago.

I waited to hear her response so I would know what to do...

Edward turned to me, grinning. It was nice, he hadn't smiled like that enough...or at all...lately. I squeezed his hand and smiled back, happy that things seemed to be turning out alright.

I hugged Julie back and nodded to Gunn. He seemed like a good guy, and I could tell her really cared for her, so he got my seal of approval.

She said she was ok but people were looking at her funny. I hated it when people did things like that, espiecally to a kid like julie. Even though gunn said she stood up for herself, she shouldn't have to. "Next time it happens, point me at 'em. Anyone who gives you any crap has me to answer to." I said to her with a smile.

"We're certainly doing better now that we know Julie's ok." I told Gunn.

I was beaming. I couldn't have been happier to see them, I think Edward felt the same.

"we are heading to the manor...you all want to join us?"

I hoped they would. Edward wouldn't let go of me, he kept his arm around me clinging as if I was going to be taken away again. I finally had to look up at him.

"Hey, I am just fine, you aren't going to lose me again, I promise."

I couldn't help it, I couldn't let go of her..she was my world for so long, for all those years in Evangeline, those times I had to bandage her up or make sure she was fed..she was the reason I went to work everyday..I would have died if she had been killed by that monster. I had her back now and I didn't want to lose her again.

"Sorry, I just don't want anything to happen to you again...I can't help it."

"Sure." I said, nodding to Julie. "Manor sounds good to me."

I smiled as Edward held onto Julie. I knew he was worried, and i was happy to see him so happy. After a while, I laughed and gently tugged on his arm.

"Sweetie, the girl needs some air." I joked

"Ok. Its your choice, honey." I said to her, understanding why she wanted to go out.

"And if you decide to tell everyone what you think of them, then we'll all be behind you." I said with a smile. If anyone even looked at her funny, I had a feeling I'd at least attempt to hit them.

"So, where to?" I asked Julie.

"Especially me, girl. I'll tell 'em what's what this time." I smiled at her. "You guys should have seen her, though. She was amazing. I don't know too many people who would do what she did. Girl's got some guts. And I love her that way."

Did I just say I loved her out loud to Phoebe and Edward? Well so what if I did? It's the truth. Julie was my whole world now. Fred was a memory, a person who used to be my world. Now that void is filled with Julie. And I couldn't be happier.

"So, Julie, what kind of food you in the mood for? You know me, I'll eat just about anything." I said, putting an arm around her.

I kissed him again, couldn't resist. He just said he loved me. What more could I ask for.

"I am a slayer..we don't walk away from any kind of food...and now that I am allowed to eat all the time..that has been proven true."

I gave Julie a look then returned to the conversation

"Yes, I seem to recall my fridge being empty on a regular basis at the school."

I chuckled

"As I recall though you prefer chinese and mexican, so why don't you pick one of those."

She smiled and declared rather loudly that she preferred Mexican

"So Mexican it is."

I said smiling.
