I listened to your recording and I love that tone. You can guess the kind of questions I have for you...
What bass is that? I guess those strings are the EB flats you were talking about, though. Pickups? etc...

Nice recording. Reminds me of something I've heard, but I don't know what.

My bass is an older-model Ibanez GSR200. I don't know much about pickups, but I can say they're stock from when the bass was first born. The Ibanez website may be able to help you better than I could. And yes, the strings are those EB flatwounds.

That song reminds me of something, too... I think I had been listening to some Boston or something when I came up with the bassline.
