I tried to get Langdon Winner to throw his hat in the ring for the Secretary of Technology post Obama promised to create. He seemed to think he had no chance, but really, who knows more about the interplay of science and politics than Langdon?

Haha, no. Somehow I doubt this is a full-time position in the slightest. Shirley Ann's on like ten other boards - this is nothing new.
