This OMC is downright creepy but so very realistic. I love the way he loses himself in his delusions, thinking that when he hits Richard it will hurt him but raping him is an act of love. The end is well fitting with being open like this so you will never know if he returns to claim Richard again and the fact that Richard does his best not to blame the others for letting him down like this.

...sorry for rambling, though. I only wanted to let you know that I really liked your story. Thank you for sharing.
