Camera experts please help...

I really need a good digital camera.  I'm no photographer, and don't really want to fool around with a million lenses and attachments.  What can you recommend?

Bascially, I am sick of blurry pictures with red eyes!

you know what? the most recent issue of consumer reports has a spread on digital cameras. the point and shoot that i have is rated #1. it's a fuji e3.

i just saw your comment in my picture post. i used a canon 30D with a 50mm 1.4 lens for those shots.
