It's 10:30 and I'm home alone.  I just got out of bed actually :)  keith got up with Claire at 7, then Rachel woke up (for the millionth time!!!) at 7:30, so he packed them up and left so I could sleep.  I'm assuming they are at his mom's.  It was really nice to sleep - uninterrupted.  it's the broken sleep that's killing me ( Read more... )

Broken up sleep does suck. I get that often and I don't even have a baby.

I've got some stuff to unload too. Do you have a freecycle organization where you live? You can look at www.freecycle.com and I just post the stuff we don't want any more and people always take it. Saves us a trip to the dump!

Good luck on your classes! That is nice that you can take them from home.

Ok so this isn't the nicest thing, but I have to tell you, I'm glad that Rachel isn't sleeping all the way through the night because I don't feel so alone. I've got two other Sept'06 mommies on my FL and both of them have babies that have STTN basically since they were a month old or something. I wish...

Good luck with the cleanup! I did a big clean of our closets and drawers last week so I could donate it before the end of the year (for tax purposes) but there's still so much that I'd like to toss... maybe you'll motivate me to get going too.

Have fun with the Masters courses!

Yeah, but I'm wondering if they mean the technical version of STTN(5 hours) or MY version - from night until morning (8-8)?? I mean,Technically, Rachel is getting in one 5 hour stretch, but I absolutely don't consider this to be STTN. So, I kinda take it with a grain of salt when people say that their babies are STTN at such an early age!!

No, their kids are sleeping for 11 and 12 hours at a go... ALEX doesn't even sleep that long. I know some people are just lucky and have kids that sleep but man, I'd kill to be so lucky. Zack will usually give us a five hour stretch - the problem is that it starts around 8:30 so I'm not sleeping for most of that time. Oh well, on of these days...

So, basically Zach & Rachel are pretty much on the same schedule. Claire had a similar sleeping pattern at that age, then, magically, at 6 months she started sleeping from 7-8 with NO wakings! SO, there is still hope for us yet!
