I didn't know you were a skating fan! How exciting that you got to go to Nationals!

I went to 1994 Nationals in Detroit (which got, er, rather eventful really fast after the Kerrigan incident) and 1998 in Philadelphia. The pressure of Nats during an Olympic year is just crazy...

Even after all these years, it amazes me how it's a totally different sport when you see it in person. It's so hard to get a good grasp of the speed and ice coverage when you see it on TV.

Okay, now I'm really, really jealous. :)

Who did you get a chance to meet? My friend mosca and I were IM'ing as we watched and we both loooooooooooved Navarro & Bonmentre (sp?) - wished they'd medal'ed.
