I am so glad I havent seen the movie Seven. We are discussing it in Criminal Law and I am pretty sure I am glad I did not see the wife's head in a box. UGH

I am amazed that someone of our generation hasn't seen Seven.
It is one of the most influential movies of the last twenty years. If you wondered why so many movies got really dark & dingy looking, especially thrillers & horror movies, Seven is the reason why. If you are easily troubled by disturbing movies, then you might want to avoid it, but personally, I think it is brilliant.
The wife head in a box thing is only a very brief flash. The moment is so disturbing because it is really built up in the scene, so that one brief flash is all the more horrifying.
If you're gone all summer, does that mean Richard will be throwing a 10 week drunken hooplah? Because, if so, I really need to start training for the summer.

Yeah, not really a fan of those scenes. I like movies that infer the gore and let my imagination interpret the rest. I would be fine with the same scene in a book but I am way too much of a visual person to handle the actual viewing.
Yes Richard will be throwing a 10 week drunken hooplah. There are some specifications though: my house should be in the same condition as I left it (meaning no burning it down, no imploding, exploding, or any other type of ploding, no water damage, or really any other kind of damage!), also all of my cats should be alive and well, and if any even THINKS about touching my Dark Tower collection I will have their spleen on a spork!
Other than that have at the drinking and the gaming!
