You know if the people in my office are representative of Republicans (which by Nov 2nds tragic descent into idiocy they are) I am really scared that they are now running our country completely. I am the only one in my office (besides interns) who does not believe in killing people merely because they think differently than myself. My boss said

My boss said quote "We should hang all of the gays" our admin assistant said quote "We should drop a bomb on all of Iraq and kill them all" and everyone there believes that all muslims are evil and have no regard for human life...

It's frightening that people can be that intolerant. They pose a bigger threat to this country than any number of terrorists ever could.

As far as the news and the world are concerned...I know how you feel. Just stand up for what you believe in, and try not to believe that everyone in the state/nation/world is a narrow-minded, racist religious zealot. There are plenty of people out there who agree with your line of thinking, and I think that their voices will soon be heard.

At least, I hope they will.
