This sounds just like some things that have happened in the previous generation in my mom's family. I come from some crazy stock.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked my fathers brother still sent my dad xmas cards. My uncle, it turns out, is a dead fucking ringer for my granddad now. My dad always did take after his mom, but wow. Anyways.

You are right, that is something that would happen in my family. I should make it not happen in my life. Danke shoen.

It is one of my many deep regrets that I have not ever been able to find in my papers (have looked many times! It was kind of a gem) a copy of Cute Crustacean.

Maybe I just need to enroll in an entry level poetry writing course again....
