Moment of TERROR

This weekend I drove home to Chattanooga. I noticed my car was making some bad vibrations, and I thought it might be due to the struts which Firestone claimed were going bad. I was annoyed, but chose to ignore it. It seemed to be getting a little worse as I approached home, so I got out just to see if a tire was going flat or something. I didn' ( Read more... )

Well, glad to hear you're okay. That's scary stuff. I remember when I lost control of my old car on I-75 near the East Brainerd exit, and had to cut right across three lanes of traffic. Tire was completely shredded, and it was a soft shoulder, so I had to call a tow truck. It was funny, after the initial minute of panic, I just felt kind of numb, and I thought it would be embarassing or scary to wait out by the side of the highway, but it didn't really. I guess I was happy I had an excuse to miss work that day.

one day you'll be able to laugh about it. like the time i was nearly stabbed by two homeless men in new york city.
