I never thought I would say this, but I hope the races are cancelled tonight. Even if the rain holds off, it is going to be sooooo cold. And while I can tolerate cold, I just don't feel like tolerating it today.

I was wondering to myself last night if I'm the only dirt track racing fan at EoFF. I probably am!

My step-uncle did dirt track racing for a while. I dunno what kind of car he drove, though. He did "stock car racing," which is all I know. I've been to a few races, and it's fun stuff - much more interesting than boring ol' NASCAR. Though it's more interesting for the sole reason that there are more wrecks.

Heh, I'd say that the amount of wrecks in both dirt track racing and nascar very so much from race to race that it's hard to say one has more than the other!

pffft, I saw a lot more action at stock car races. And yes, I have watched NASCAR before (my step-dad is a big fan). Of course, it also helps that stock car races aren't 320948092348093248093248 laps and the laps aren't 1+ miles each.

They're this huge dirt track not too far from my house that's really popular. We used to go all the time when I was kid. I used to have such a good time! I would love to go again! :)

I love it so much. Even if my dad gave it up, I would probalby still go and watch.

I like stock car racing. I used to go to the NZ leg of the world championships every year. Not sure about the other kinds of cars though, like super saloons etc. I just like the ones that try to damage each other and win the race at the same time - especially in 4-car teams.

I like the speedway over here - that's on a dirt track. I love watching the tankers race. Good stuff.
