This one is unforgettable:
Sure, they’ll suck each other until they see stars and fuck each other until they see God, but that’s all it’ll ever be.

Earlier, I forgot to say how much I loved the way the story circled around and overlapped. You did an incredible job making that work.

And thanks! I was afraid that the circling/overlapping would just confuse people, so it's great to hear that it worked for you!

Wilson's loneliness, here, cuts to the bone. I love how you did this, waiting until we see how it ends before we see how it began, and what Wilson's been suffering until this point in time -- taking as much as he thinks he can get, because it's so much better (and so much worse) than nothing. And House, always, believing he won't be enough.

Wilson/Cuddy is far more believable to me than House/Cuddy, and the reasons you give Wilson for trying it ring very true. I found the scenario you wrote for "Wilson's Heart" particularly poignant, and I could easily see it happening.
You really do capture the way House and Wilson manage to work at counter-purposes sometimes -- each so worried about losing the other that they make really obvious mistakes. It's one of the most endearing things about the two of them!

Interesting! I haven't found a lot of people who feel that way and it's always nice to get different viewpoints.

Heh, I love that about them too, and I'm so glad that came through for you. Thanks for your thoughtful review!

The more of it they tried to force into the H/C relationship, the more false it rang to me. I was sick of it by the end of S6, and I skipped S7 altogether.
It's not that Wilson and Cuddy did have more UST in canon, it's just that I could have far more easily believed that pairing than the one TPTB did give us. And, realistically, they could have ended S7 in exactly the same way, had they chosen to do so, with Jealous!House slamming the car into the home of the woman who's stealing Wilson from him; Cuddy leaving because she realizes she and Wilson will never have a chance as long as House is alive, no matter where they go; Wilson being pissed at House, etc.

That is actually a really brilliant idea (and would make for a really awesome fic!).
I'm one of those people who couldn't tear themselves away from Season 7 but hated it with a passion. If there was any real Huddy chemistry, TPTB butchered it beyond recognition.
And lol, I'm all for hijacked threads! Good fandom discussion is where it's at ;)

If these two ever got on the same page (in canon , that is) we wouldn't need it to be 2012 to fear the world ending
lol! So true. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing; glad you enjoyed it!
