Nice writing. WTF was wrong with him though? Something with his heart, sure. But why and what exactly? And how did they fic him? Didn't get it at all, sorry. Still like your writing style, though. Was very IC and I liked the flow.

Thanks for commenting. There are all sorts of electrical conduction abnormalities that can result in an arrhythmia that actually becomes dangerous. To cardiovert is now a standard procedure to 'zap' the heart back into a normal rhythm and hopefully solve the problem. It's been so long since I researched the story I can't remember which specific abnormality I was working with, but cardioversion was the cure!
