Work is really boring today, Friday nights are pretty much dead time, especially when you're at your goal for the week.  I'm putting up the thread now because it's either that or do actual work.  I work til 9, SD is on from 8-10 here, so I'm just recording it and waiting until it's over, strictly live recapping, so I should be done by midnight.

The Hall of Fame

We did the "Condemned" premiere Friday which was fun; a nice easy way to kick off the weekend, since we had semi-casuals with us to take in the random wrestler appearances and surprisingly good film. It's grisly, violent, has two rape scenes...it's nuts. Not a classic, but more-than-passable. We also did the Foley signing, and were forced into buying the new book if we wanted stuff signed. Then it ran so long, we were rushed into him just signing our forced-upon books! Still a good time, with fun fans to talk to

I noticed the little bit of "heat" during the Wild Samoan induction. On TV (well, webcast) you couldn't really tell what people were saying but I assumed it was insults directed at him for not speaking English (hell, I almost thought he wasn't able to speak in English until the last couple of words).

It was also a little awkward when Afa (?) did the extra long pause after thanking God. I guess HBK was the only truly religious one in the crowd.
