Disclaimer: I don't own them, SME does. Plot is mine.
Summary: How Victoria gets what she wants, when she wants it. From Kyuhyun, at least.

Warning: Un-beta'd. Written in one sitting, in approximately fourty-five minutes. Bottom line: it sucks.

Kyuhyun doesn't really understand the fuse of anger, confusion, and embarrassment that bubbles in his chest when he hears the sweet melody- no, wait, it's actually the almost-subtle cackling nature of Victoria's teasing laugh when she watches him fail at a task she could easily (and smoothly, might she add) accomplish terribly.

Neither can he comprehend that slight jolt of - of something - that heats up the flesh of his throat when he's watching (or trying not to watch, rather) the latest episodes of We Got Married because Victoria had insisted that, being her best-y, he must watch in order to support her meanwhile blowing up the show ratings a few notches.

“Oh, come on,” Victoria says, elbowing Kyuhyun in the ribs, “it's fun to watch! Don't deny that!”

No, Kyuhyun cannot deny that the fact that the television show is, indeed, quite the entertainment on a boring Saturday evening but being the busy, popular, overly-used member he is in Super Junior, he has other things to do; things like not watching Victoria getting a back hug from Nichkhun, or not witnessing the “couple” snuggling in bed, or not heeding the two love-birds teasing each other with ambiguous remarks while leaving small traces of flirty touches here and there on We Got Married any attention.

Yeah, he had better things to do; much better things.

And so, while they're being abused by the macho-man with muscles the size of Pluto (which is, actually, no longer considered an actual planet but a “dwarf-planet”, which amuses him) along with various other artists, Kyuhyun finds it hard to keep his eyes off of her.

And the macho-man that is slowly making his way towards her.

“Victoria-ssi, why don't you do one on your own?” Kyuhyun hears Ho-Dong hyung request.

Kyuhyun immediately slides aside, as far away from Victoria as he can get without losing sight of her, and watches her intently as she lifts her leg to the side and then to the back. He fumes, sighs inwardly, and admires as she repeats it. He almost scoffs when the macho-man is as equally amazed as he is when Victoria stretches her foot all the way to her head - again, per request.

He's seen it a few too many times, being her best friend and all.

“You know,” Victoria whispers to him when they're all back in their original placements - the two of them right beside each other. “You should exercise a bit more, you're so skinny.”

Kyuhyun arches a brow, keeping his eyes focused on the new female trainer, who might as well have been as big as macho-man over there. “Why? So I can be as big as Nichkhun?”

Victoria is taken aback by his statement, but isn't stirred. “No, why would you want to be big like him? It wouldn't look right on you.”

“But it looks good on him,” Kyuhyun interjects as monotonously as he can; it comes out dry and a bit more bitter than he had hoped.

“Well, yeah,” Victoria shrugs, “but that's not my point.”

The PD calls cut for a break and Kyuhyun silently thanks all the Gods in the world because he honestly didn't know how well he could conduct the remainder of their conversation without exploding in her face with jealousy or - or something.

“See you in a bit,” he waves over his shoulder after he picks up the exercise mat and walks over towards his hyungs, following them to the resting area.

Victoria purses her lips, running after him and pulling him back by the arm. Leeteuk and Eunhyuk give her an unreadable look, but Shindong just smiles and shakes his head with a light, playful sigh. “Come here,” she says, and, before Kyuhyun can either accept or reject her demand, he feels himself being dragged to the backstage changing room.

“What is it?” He asks.

The older girl grins, crossing her arms over her chest. “That's what I want to ask you.”

“What?”

“You know what,” Victoria retorts.

Kyuhyun shrugs innocently, shaking his head. “I really don't know.”

“What's this attitude you've been giving me?”

“I always have an attitude with everyone,” Kyuhyun defends.

Victoria narrows her eyes. “No, you don't. Not like this, at least.”

“I'm just tired,” Kyuhyun tries to reason, “you know, 5jib preparations and stuff.”

“Right,” Victoria drawls sarcastically.

Kyuhyun nods. “It's true,” he insists, “whether you believe it or not, what I'm saying is-”

“There's a Chinese saying that goes 'if a man is reliable, than a female pig can climb a tree'*,” Victoria interrupts him, “I guess it's true. You're my best friend, yet, you can't even be honest with me.”

“You're my best friend, too!” Kyuhyun furrows his brows, his blood boiling in his veins. “What do you want me to say? That I'm angry? That I hate the fact that you want me to watch you and that Thailand Prince all intimate and junk? Do you want me to tell you that I dislike the fact that you're good at everything, especially at being oblivious and hurtful, while being innocent and angel-like at the same time? Is that what you want me to say?!”

“No, that's not what I want you to say!” Victoria shouts.

Kyuhyun takes Victoria by the wrist and pulls her closer to himself, so close that their breathes are warming each others cheeks. “Then what?!” He demands.

“I want you to tell me how you really feel, deep down, in the core of your heart; your true feelings.”

“What?” Kyuhyun scoffs, “You want to me to tell you that I love you?”

“Don't you?” Victoria mocks. “Haven't you always?”

Kyuhyun is shocked by her level of confidence, how her tone had not wavered in the least. He can't see the way she's actually shaking inside, every nerve in her body tensing as she forces the words past her lips, off her tongue.

“Tell me, Kyuhyunnie,” she says, “do you feel that way about me?”

To be honest, Kyuhyun hates it when Victoria pulls the whole age difference scheme on him. They were only a year apart - not even, really. “I-”

Luna has always known that she never has good timing; her own self-acknowledgment proves itself right once again as she oh-so-conveniently slips into the changing room just as Kyuhyun parts his lips to reply. She's frozen in place, eyes glued to the scene before her.

Victoria bites down on her lip and tries to free herself from Kyuhyun's grasp, but he doesn't release her.

“Our bad,” Amber interjects, shoving Sulli out and pulling Luna out with her, “we're sorry!”

The air amidst them stiffens for a moment before Kyuhyun bursts out laughing, Victoria soon following suit as soon as the awkwardness dissipates.

“I could never,” Kyuhyun suddenly says in the middle of his laughter, “I could never deal with those girls of yours.”

“You don't have to,” Victoria states matter-of-factly, “Nichkhun seems to have already done that for you.”

Kyuhyun's expression turns serious again. “Hey.”

“What?” Victoria pouts. Her cell-phone beeps and she pulls it out of her pocket, inspecting her text message as Kyuhyun tries to gather his thoughts, or words, or something along those lines.

“I,” Kyuhyun says, before pausing and hesitating again, “I actually- I really was, well, I mean, I am-”

Victoria rolls her eyes. “Save it.”

“What do you mean? I haven't even finished-”

Victoria turns the screen towards Kyuhyun, revealing a shiny, bright, yellow background with Kyuhyun standing in the center in a striped shirt of blue, yellow, black, red, undefinable trousers, and possibly a thousand other colors surrounding him in the form of words. The necklaces add a nice touch to the contrast of colors. His hat and printed, green jacket sums it all up.

In other words: it's hilarious and Kyuhyun finds himself reddening in the ears, cheeks, neck, and chest and Victoria roars in laughter before him.

“What,” Victoria chokes, “did they do to you?”

“Shut up,” Kyuhyun frowns, “it's the new in-look.”

Victoria cackles harder. “Right, because excessively-colorful and overly-done-ridiculous are so in.”

“Admit it,” Kyuhyun says, “it looks good on me.”

Victoria nods, but it isn't the least bit convincing. “I could never love this,” is what she ends up saying after a long moment of glaring on Kyuhyun's behalf.

Kyuhyun takes her cell-phone and shuts it off, shoving it back into her pocket and he looks intently into her eyes. “And this? Could you ever, you know, me?”

“Hm,” Victoria hums, pretending to think it over (but the childish grin on her face gives it all away; it gives her feelings, her heart, her every resolve not to make herself so vulnerable, away) “I could think about it.”

“Then think about it,” Kyuhyun replies, “think about it seriously because I might, you know, you.”

Victoria laughs, and this time her laugh doesn't cause Kyuhyun any agony or misery.

The PD calls everyone back into the recording studio and their manager comes running for them, out of breath and nervous. “I thought I'd lost the two of you!” He says, but the two simply smile apologetically at him before running off into the studio, hand in hand.

“I will,” she says to him as they reach their exercise mats once again. “I mean, I can.”

Their conversation is cut short by the muscle-lady who is, once again, teaching how to wobble around on your butt to somehow produce the right curves in your body. The whole concept doesn't quite make sense to Kyuhyun, but he thinks the way Victoria wobbles around on her rear end is just adorable, and the way she looks at him, proud and excited, like a puppy, is unbearably cute.

Every time Kyuhyun had a chance during the recording, he took a hold of Victoria's hand. He'd make sure he'd never let go of her hands one of these days for the rest of their lives because her hands were so soft, so small, they fit so perfectly in his own.

Yes, so perfectly in his own.

So perfect.

A/N: So, I haven't written in forever. Life is in the way, and I apologize for not having updated on.. well, anything. I totally forgot about the Initial Line Challenge, but Nyx (a.k.a. kendayawind ) and I have decided to delay it until August and start then.

Because I haven't written in forever (literally), especially Kyutoria, I really don't quite remember how things work anymore... this is incredibly sad and I feel inexplicably depressed. I finally took some time and watched the newest Star King with SJ and f(x) on it (my babies~ they are all so precious ;A;) and I couldn't help but notice how Kyutoria kept looking at each other, laughing and talking, during the whole exercising part. Sorry, I didn't pay enough attention to notice the name of the guy and lady that were teaching them...

This story wasn't as short as I had hoped, but not as long as I had wished.. I've been wanting to write a Chaptered-Kyutoria fic, but looks like that's not happening anytime soon. *sigh*

Terrible writing is terrible. Horrible story is just.. horrible. Sorry T.T

Anyhow, hope you Kyutoria lovers enjoyed this~ thanks for reading! -rssj1314
