Are the PlayStation 2 games formatted differently over there? Are there cricket games for Xbox? Rugby? And while you're over there, learn two things: 1)how to make colcannon from a fire-haired Irishwoman, and 2)where the Marshall amps factory is. Tour it if possible. Live there also, if possible. Steal anything you can, preferably anything marked "JCM".

Yes Playstation games aswell as xbox are formatted diff over here with regional coding just like DVD's though you can bypass this if you've put a mod chip in your xbox, (though then you cant go on xbox live, hence I havent) There are cricket games for xbox in europe, havent found any for state side, there is however a rugby game from EA Sports on all consoles for the states, its supposed to be the best rugby fanchise VG.
Yes, but the US xbox can do that too. they have regional coding that disalows US purchased xbox's from using european games and vice versa.... PAL is a video coding format, the US uses NTCS, I believe. PAL is what europe and others use. its the language that is used to record the video signal, like english to french, different languages just not for speech, for video.
