I have not taken this quiz, being as how i keep FAR from things that upset me when it's optional. *L* But i suspect mine would come out closer to yours than any of the others i've seen posted thus far. Except i'd expect ol' Hil to move down a few pegs.

the answers are by topic which match up to voting record and platform. just because you like or dislike a person or candidate doesn't necessarily mean you will or won't match up to what they say they are running for.

note "what they say they are running for" doesn't always mean that's what they will do once they get there either. therein lies the rub. (or the bonus depending on whether or not your candidate of choice actually won.)

Yes. I know how it works. I'm glad these tools are available. I wish we could make one that WOULD tell us what the'd really do instead of what they SAY they'll do, but hey, i'm still an idealist....

so am i!! better yet, i wish we could invent something that will make them do what they say they said they would in the first place. :)

or how about a no-spin machine? that'd be super nice! cut through all the crap. stop the cheesey photo-ops and sound bites that don't mean anything and tell it like it is! the whole world would be better off that way. even the candidates who wouldn't have to work so hard trying to keep up appearances at being something they clearly, are not.

Although I have done several of these candidate things I have not followed the candidates very closely. I am waiting for the parties to tell me who is actually running before I listen. The Presidency is a job. There will be two major applicants for that job (remember that politician is a job description like banker or street cleaner) and they will present themselves as their backers tell them to. The party platform may or may not espouse the things the candidates believe are good (or say they believe). I have mixed feelings about Hillary, but she and I place a lot of stock in Pro-choice, same sex marriages, and social security. Hence, she is always in the top group when I take a quiz.
