Oh! I'm loving this story! I don't think I've read that much Jeff/Annie pregnancy stories (or maybe they're out there and I just haven't been able to find them)

Anyway, I really like that you made Jeff the voice of reason in this chapter. I mean, I could see him going nuts too, I guess. But I love how caring he is for Annie! Great job!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it :-). There really aren't a lot of Jeff/Annie baby!fics out there, which is why I originally requested this as a ficcy friday prompt. But then, I really just wanted to write it myself. So this is the result.
I toyed with Jeff flipping out, but I really liked it much better when he was the calm one. It seemed to me that I could emphasize how serious he was about Annie if he was the voice of reason.

Oh, and Booth and Bones love to eat Thai food, and Jeff and Annie eat Thai food when they watch Bones...perfect! LOL!

And I'm really glad you liked this chap! I just really liked the idea that Jeff and Annie would have a routine where they sit around like a real couple and watch something like Bones, lol. Glad you caught the reference.

I'm really loving this story so far. I think I've read a few Jeff and Annie pregnancy stories before, but they've always been married and prepared for the baby. I think this unexpected pregnancy is going to show a whole different dynamic to their relationship. Like the other reviewers have pointed out, I love the relationship that you've established for them. It's clear that whatever happens, they're in this together. I love that Jeff was the voice of reason and tried to calm Annie down. And I also love that Jeff had basically admitted to himself that he has already thought of starting a family with Annie. It really establishes for the reader how serious he is about the relationship. Can't wait to read more. I'm excited to see how the group reacts to the news of their relationship, AND the pregnancy.
