Reasons for rec: Fernwithy has a beautiful, tactful and sensitive approach to (implied) character death that is heartbreaking. This fic illustrates the pain that both Remus and his family would feel upon the event of his last full moon, and it does so in a way that leaves you aching, as though you've just had the air ripped out of your lungs. Painful, but incredibly well done. This fic was written as her response to prompt #25 at rt_challenge.
