I'm a little rusty with art and posting so forgive any mistakes. This piece is unfortunately in an alternate universe where Remus and Tonks survive the final battle. Damn you, JKR...

There may have been some internal air-punching when I saw you'd first mentioned working on a piece again. It's like old times here!

As we all know, Remus and Tonks DID survive the final battle, and there is lots I love about this picture. Most of all is the palpable happiness from all three of them, but also the jumpers, Tonks' short hair and her arm casually hanging over Remus, and how you've used colour. Teddy is so vivid, and with Tonks behind him, it makes it look as if Remus is surrounded by colour and life. And loving it.

Great job. :D

Aw, this is lovely! I always feel ill equipped to comment on art, but I agree with Gilpin that I like the use of color, and I like the framing, too; the way we only see Teddy from the back, but we know instantly it's him by that iconic hair, and we see how happy and connected all three of them are by their gaze directed at each other and by Tonks' arm draped over Remus. The picture reads as though all three of them are physically in contact with each other because of the strength of that gaze.

The crown on Teddy's head adds depth to his status. The boy I see in the picture is a full boy, an innocent boy who is still unblemished by the harsh world. . JK Rowling said that "children are hardwired to demand love" and she said they have some researches that back that up. Perhaps that is her reason for killing off Remus and Tonks. I want to be angry at her too, but what she did was really mature and brave. She knew the world needed to understand some of those difficult concepts such as loss. And it is clear in her charities that she does not want orphans and children to feel unloved.

I suppose that's part of the beauty of fanart and fanfic - you're the boss of what's happening here, not JKR ;)

This is so wonderfully full of happiness and love, of family ties and togetherness. The colours are gorgeous, and the jumpers made me grin widely, I love them so much! This whole piece is so vibrant and full of life, and it makes me happy to look at. Great job!
