Yeah, I guess I was hoping when I bought it that it would come out more Martha Stewart and less Hugh Hefner, but I think the funniest memories are the ones when things just don't go the way you expected them to. :) I'm glad the humor of the situation comes across. Thanks again. :)
I took a cake decorating course years ago. My best production, aside from many birthday cakes, that I remember was a Christmas cake. I used a sugar cone upside down and frosted green, then decorated it like a Christmas Tree. It was set o one side on the cake and the rest was decorated like a little ice skating rink scene.
the majority of my guests were huddled in a circle, enthusiastically decorating a gingerbread "hoe house."
LOVE! The only way this could get any better is if next year, you added some pixie stix to the mix and cooked up a gingerbread crackhouse to go with the cathouse. Well played, an excellent use of baking supplies indeed, and def getting a vote from me.

I've never made a gingerbread house; not enough people in my family like gingerbread, so I'm always afraid no one would eat it.
Baking cookies sounds like a fun sort of party to have!

Yeah, by the time they sit out as decoration, I don't think anyone actually eats them.
