Yes, she certainly did. Oddly enough, though, her taking the gesture at face value will do far, far more to correct her behavior and overall outlook than the snarky true point ever could have done.

Either way, the effect will be far greater on her so long as she takes it at face value and does not so much as suspect he was trying to teach her a lesson. It will be very interesting to see how drastically her behavior changes.
