Can 'strange visitors to the rebman embassy' sneak in there? I promise not to drink up the tea.

Maybe. We are on a heightened security alert thing! All sorts of super special restrictions on visitors coming inside! But there's also plenty of tea to go around.

I can stand in the street and shout my questions but that will be a little inconvenient and messy.

You could try naval flags to communicate.

May need a device to make them all wibbly wobbly, though, like they've viewed from under water.

I think there's less worry of you being stopped for being Rebman in the Palace, and more a security worry of "Oh, that's just Mostyn, let him through"...and then it turns out Servalle blackmailed you into field testing the perfect poison in the kitchen.

Must talk to my son.

I would never test a perfect poison in the Palace kitchen!

I mean, how would I observe the results afterward to see how well it worked? That would be terribly inconvenient for gathering data.

The Mandrake Hospital would be a far better place!

Well, it certainly would make observation easier, but I'd have to compensate for all sorts of pre-existing ailments, which complicates the data terribly.

Also, Lucy might yell at me. Which is rather more terrifying than complex equations.
