I wanted to get rid of all my old journal entries. But not delete the whole thing, user name and all. But as a cheap ass bastard I still haven't upgraded to a full membership. And since I'm not sure that I'll go back to making regular entries, I didn't see any point in paying for a membership just so I could delete things more easily. It's amazing ( Read more... )

Whoop! Hey sweetie! Facebooks a bit average, but my family are all using it so I hopped on the stupid bandwagon.

I have to have a different place to talk crap in though, my family would all die of horror if they had to actually LISTEN to me. And they are all 'loyal' (read stupid) enough to actually read it. Being the youngest kind of blows!

Yeah the chat is the most useful thing on Facebook really, my kid can talk to her cousins and aunts all night without me feeling the need to get all pissy. She's almost a teenager now, I believe the instruction manual said something about stocking up on chill pills about now. And buying a shotgun.

How's life with you?

ICQ ate my contact list a while ago and there didn't really seem to be much point using it after that. Facebook chat is a really useless chatting system though. I mean, apart from the fact that you can talk to a very high number of users and all that...

I'm still here. Though I have noticed the number of posts on Livejournal dropping in the past year. Partly I blame facebook, twitter, et al, but even those still blogging have started to move their posts elsewhere and syndicate them back to LJ. :)

I only joined facebook because people moved to posting parties there instead of the mailing list.
The chat function there is okay.

I still check LJ for posts fairly often
