I really like this, but you should know, Luke had the kidney failure and all that way before he even came out about being gay and all. And everyone else knew before Kevin.

But, so far, good story!

Thanks for your comment. I didn't that Luke had kidney failure before he came out about being gay. Did the kidney failure happen before Van was in the role? I was watching then but I have completely blanked on this.
I thought that Holden knew that Luke was gay, but I thought that Luke came out to Kevin first, but I must be wrong.

Yeah. Jake Weary did the whole kidney transplant story and then Van took over after. Holden was suspicus about Luke being gay but never said anything about it. Luke and Jade pretended to be dating to keep his secret and she had a place to stay but then Luke told Holden and Lily. Then everyone else. Kevin didn't know until the 'Oakdale Slasher' fiasco at Raven Lake. But then Luke saved Kevin from drowning so they had an understanding with each other.

Thanks It's starting to come back to me, but not really. I hated the Oakdale slasher storyline so I've blocked it out. I didn't even remember that Luke saved Kevin. I'm an idiot.

The Jade part I remember. I think Lily caught those two in bed???

Aww, thanks for the shout out. You did all the work, though, in writing this out.

He had seen the searing pain in Luke’s beautiful brown eyes and desperately wanted to take it away.
I just love this. This, to me, is what attracted a big part of Reid to Luke--wanting to protect Luke (especially from Noah).

And it's just like Luke to feel so low and unwanted--poor Luke.

So glad Reid can comfort him like that--I still get upset that we never got a proper hug between these 2 on the show.

I share your hatred of Chirs!!! I hate all the other's as, but Chris is the focus of my hatred as well.

He and Reid are not friends in this story, not at all.

He's not a major factor in the chapter, and you are supposed to hate him in this fic. I don't think I have it in me to redeem that character. UGH.
