Gothic Match

Nov 18, 2005 11:00

I just pulled my GothicMatch account. I am free of all match sites now. It seems they were bought up and now apply classic date site tactics at $19.99 a month. Are F-ing kidding me? Before it was just like any other profile site and it was fun to look around at my friends who signed up. Myspace has pretty much made all of that stuff obsolete anyway ( Read more... )

...playing DragonShard D&D RTS on the computer. Last one was XMen Legends 2 on the PS2. Before that We love Katamari on PS2. Before that Leisure Suit Larry - uncut- on the PC.

For Xmas I have posted a list that contains one thing...PSP. I will be a happy camper if I get that.

OOOOH how is We <3 Katamari? I own the first one. Have been wondering if the 2nd one is any better.

I have another friend playing DragonShard, it looked okay. It can't replace my World of Warcraft though :)

Warcraft is still the king. I have a lot of issues with DragonShard, but I am enjoying it anyway.

We <3 Katamari is great. They made it much easier to rerun missions to get faster times and bigger balls, heh. They did a ton of other improvements as well. Still a quick finish but with tons of replay.

I am just not an online player. One, my fragil ego can not handle getting wumped on by an 8 year old. Two, I just don't see the point of the current online games. I spend 8 hours on a game so I can tell my friends how I just got another level on WOW and I am so much cooler now?

I played Evercrack for a while and it was enjoyable for a time but I couldn't get the fun that I get from a good RPG or the sheer joy of a good slash and kill like God of War. No story to me means no fun. I am in it for the strategy or the story. Organized battles are fun and all but it gets old fast.

Hey, not just me, it does not include any of his friends. Whatever. We make time for the things that are important to us. It is his life to fill with what he wants.
