WTF?! He had no right to go off at you like that.
I understand he was stressed but umm... so are you...!!??!!
I tend to be the angry one in the family, Mum gets upset but I get angry and usually blow up at people... If he had spoken to me like that I would have exploded, I don't know how you didn't Linda... No excuse for it.
And its up to Uncle Des if he wants visitors, and it sounds like he wanted to see you anyway... He needed to be shown you care.

Curves... What a waste of time hey... I was the only on in my 20s there. You're supposed to exercise 30mins/3x per DAY not week! Thats what annoyed me about it cause you could only go there for 30 mins a day. I'm getting an exercise bike from Big W soon, gonna be on that ALL winter :)

That's exactly what I was thinking WTF!!

Anyway I'm glad that I went. There was nothing that could have stopped me, he means so much to me.

You were so right about Curves.
I have already started to try and get fit at home. But the gym would make me fitter.

It's cool your getting an excercise bike when I went to check out the gym they had this class where you go flat out on and exercise bike for about an hour with an instructor it looked interesting I may have to try it.

aw, i think you did the right thing.
he shouldn't have yelled at you like that but i think you're right; he just wanted to take it out on someone.

if you want to go see Uncle Des again don't let anything stop you ♥

If Des himself was happy to see you then who is anyone else to complain? Besides, lifting his spirits can only be in his best interests. I would have been shocked by Vince's outburst too - understanding upon reflection, but "I beg your pardon" in the heat of the moment - but you're right to stick to your guns.

On a lighter note, re: The Phantom of the Opera: I saw it in Melbourne when I was a kid, and while I generally don't do musical theatre, this was something else! You won't be disappointed.

*HUGS YOU* Thanks Kev.
I'm glad that you thought I did the right thing I too know in my heart that it was the right thing and I'd do it again in a minute.

Thanks for that Kev now I am really excited because I know you have such impeccable taste
so I know I'm in for a real treat, I can't wait!
I have seen the movie versions of Phantom Of the Opera and I thought it was really moving so I have always wanted to see it.

How's things going for you, well I hope?

Yeah, things are going allright. There's the usual everyday worries tied up with making ends meet but you deal with these things. Sarah misses her friends and family back home, but she does a lot better at making new friends than she gives herself credit for.

I know how you feel that's why home-brand is my best friend:P

Poor Sarah, I guess it takes a while to adjust to a new place but as you said she makes new friends easily so things should work out fine once she settles in a bit more I miss my parents but you get used to it.

I know how you feel I feel so awful at present because I haven't sone enough exercise. Funnily enough I always feel more like exercising in winter because it's not so hot.

That was really not nice of him to go off and yell at you for now apparent reason. Who is he in anyway to tell you who you can and cannot visit?????
I can absolutely understand that you would be upset. Even though he was upset for some reason, he still has no right to take it out on you!!!!

I really hope that you are doing better and that your uncle is ok and that his state of mind is better. Hope that the visit from the pshyciatrist helped.

Hope you will have a lovely time when you go and watch Phantom of the opera. I like stuff like that, but have not seen anything here in Australia yet. Used to love to go to the theatre when I was still living in South Africa.

Lots and lots of hugs for you and hope you will feel better soon. If you ever need to talk....

HI Alice *HUGS YOU* Thank you so much.
I can understand why he was stressed but he shouldn't have taken it out on me especially since I had rung up to see how he was doing.
It was hardest for him I guess as he found Uncle Des. It will make things very awkward when I see him again, such a shame.

I can't really say that I think UncleDes's state of mind is any better but he knows e is very much loved as everyone has ben very supportive and told him how much we all love him so i hope this helps.

I am so glad that you like the theatre I have always loved it. Unfortunately ai don't get to go as often as I would like. I am so looking forward to seeing Phantom of the Opera. I hope you get ot see it over here one day too.

Thank you so much for your friendship and support it means so very much to me *HUGS*

Much Love
Linda
XOXO
