Well... I hadn't thought about it as if the cat were an individual, or even a concept. It was just the face in the drawing that make me think of him.
I was 15 years old when he (supposedly) banged his shoe, but there are no legitimate pictures of him doing so. I never thought of him as a "bad guy".
As a young person, I was just worried that he and Kennedy would destroy us all with Nuclear bombs if they couldn't control themselves over the Cuban Missile crisis and get together as two intelligent human beings. At that age, I didn't understand politics. I just worried about life in general, based upon what news was reported in the News Papers and on television. :o)
