Hometown pride, y'all
Thoughts on Survivor
Heh, it's kinda funny that Rhode Island is small enough for hometown pride to entail the entire state. When the original Survivor was on, I was living at the opposite end of the state, and still had the hometown pride thing going with Richard Hatch.
I love Hatch. I really do. And Mogo Mogo was absolutely stupid to vote him off last night. Mostly because now they have no rice and no reliable fisher. And now the trinity of Lex, Colby and Ethan has all the power. I believe Hatch was right to vote for Colby, and I predict that last night's vote is going to come back and hurt a lot of people.
So. After that, my support is going to Rupert. I've got no love for Mogo Mogo anymore. And yes, that includes Ethan. I'm not too fond of schemer!Ethan. One of the things that appealed to me about him in Africa, aside from his gorgeous hair, was his integrity. And he's not showing that now.
Although my number two pick is Shii Ann, because I wanted her to win on her show.
Hey hey, ho ho, Boston Rob has got to go. Stu and I call him Wicked Pissah, because he's so full of himself and my impersonation of him from the first show was "Hey, look at me, I'm wicked pissah!" (No disrespect to those on my flist who actually arewicked pissah.
Also on my chopping block are Jenna (I not-so-secretly delighted at her being the last kid picked on the playground), Amber (brilliant strategy attaching herself to the alpha male, but she's annoying), and Big Tom (creepy. I'm betting that Sue's rant has to do with him and not Hatch.)
