I write this because I am slacking with the typsetting of my not sufficiently challenging Fundamental Algorithms class at NYU.

Web comic #1, Alien Loves Predator. I think anyone who has spent any significant amount of time in New York City can relate to this webcomic about the damn metrocard getting rejected by the turnstileComing in at #2, is ( Read more... )

I guess my distant 4th and 5th would be A Softer World and PhD. I just never got into Penny Arcade. My roomate swears that the Perry Bible Fellowship is great, I just don't see it.

I saw Superbad this weekend. It was great.

But ya, grad school (other than research) doesn't seem challenging enough, which was (at least partially) why I never got that MS..

I am sure if I took the advanced algo class I'd be more than challenged. I just wussed out, because I wanted to do more than work and school this semester.

Well in Stony (which is obviously different than NYU) I took the PhD-level course as a junior. So other than research I was pretty much done..

See, if the 7 sins were labeled by their first letters (R for greed), it would be much easier to make sure you aren't 'doing it wrong'.

Also, in Superbad, the radio that is installed in the car is a VRCD500SDU which takes MP3/WMA on CD, USB, or SD cards, as well as doing the regular FM/AM/CD/AUX. I have the VRCD400SDU but am selling the car, so am leaving the radio in so the buyer doesn't complain about the broken door handle...

I wish I had more to contribute comic-wise. I am, however, attempting to learn electronics and microcontroller programming with a TI MSP430-based device. http://www.designmsp430.com/ Maybe one of these days, I'll actually solder something to something else. While it might not be the most challenging thing in the world, I find it nifty. Besides, you'll get to hang out at all the surplus electronics websites!
