In Russia we had two revolutions, the first was in the beginning of 20th century in 1905. But again (like in the USA :)) Navy was one of those forces who started it. I don't have much to add but it's really interesting because I just saw that movie. It was a very sophisticated film for its time. Other than that, it's interesting how Eisenstien embellished things (I think the most stirring scene - the Odessa massacre, never really happened?).
