1. I like the fact that not only did you house and feed me before I left the country but you also put up with my quasi-random British ramblings for 4 months. 2. Movie has to be Once Upon a Time in Mexico, just because of the vitrol you spewed after we went to see it. Didnt realise you'd hated it THAT much! 3. We should meet up for coffee and more random conversations. Not bothered which country. 4. "My spoon is too big" 5. Most of my memories of you involved the Ab, but I do have a clear memory of you messing about with a sachet of ketchup in the Food Court place until it burst and covered you in ketchup. Tres amusant 6. "Multi-foliating is one of my favouraite words. T.S. Elliot used it in a poem." 7. I've been wondering if you ever finished learning American Sign Language...cause that would be cool. 8. As you started this meme I dont really see the point of askign you to pass it on really.
1. I love the way you managed to be as insane as the rest of us and yet still project this feeling of stability into the group. DOesn't really make much sense, but I know what I mean. Plus you give great hugs :-) 2. Movie wise, hmm, possibly Lord of the Rings, just cause I associate it with Canada and Canada with you. 3. Hmm, we should meet up, have coffee and the like, and if we meet in maine you can show me Lobster Ice cream. 4. Name as many varieties of apple as you can. 5. I remember sitting next to you on a bus going apple picking. And us winning a box of cereal each...tres random 6. I need to trade my soul in, get a new one. And a watch battery. 7. Having to think about this. WOuld Like to know if you'd ever consider continuing your studies, maybe nto in depression studies but in somethign. 8. You've done it already, I see no point!
Yup. I would be a lifetime student if I could plan it properly. In fact, I'd even like to go back to IDS, if I could work in that field while doing a Masters or PhD. I'll probably even try for a job with ACDI-CIDA (CA gov't) in January (which is when I want a new job), even though it's a long shot. USAID (the US equivalent dept.) is more likely, but not my very first choice.
In theory, I probably could have taken on a boatload of debt to go back to York to finish the degree, but then I would have been in a boatload of debt, with just (another) Bachelor's degree, and about the same chance at a job with ACDI-CIDA as I have now. Maybe less - the debt would probably not help my application for a work permit.
