The franchise expansion of making happiness just arrived with this chapter. Much appreciated.

Love the Morrison quote. Friends of mind ... in many ways what I enjoy the most about Yearling is that it is a reminder of how wonderful and even essential good friendships can be.

When pop-culture turns its lens on friendship it's usually the big gestures that get airplay. You do an excellent job of showing that the small gestures count as well. That there's little more important than having someone with whom we can share the in-jokes and quiet conversations that give us a chance to remember who we are apart from who we are supposed to be in public.

Again, and always, thank you for writing this.
