Good paper. The writing is excellent yet still remains clear and understandable. It flows very well without curving down any unnecessary side roads. I myself do not know too much about Mark Twain, but nonetheless this paper gave me enough info on him and his apparent (for lack of a better word) psychosis to convince me was a Masochist.
Each paragraph transitioned well to the next and it weemed well organized. It was good that you started with the definition and then mentioned the lack of proof of his masochism "by most definitions" in the beginning yet showed suggestions in his writing. I think that made your argument stronger.
Although... it does kind of remind me of our whole "interpreting other peoples' art" conversation...
