Great read! I agree with the others, it was like a LOM episode, but with Sam/Gene goodness. Our boys were in character, the plot kept me interested, and I enjoyed reading it all the way to the end. Fantastic job~
I loved it! Nice and original! Echoing Archraven1234's sentiment when I say that my favourite bit was when the entire stations voted unanimously that Sam would be a good gay. Thank you so much for posting! Any chance of seeing more stories like this in the future? Please, please, please, please - with a Sam/Gene on top?

Hmm, I don't know. I'll probably write more Sam/Gene, but case!fic is hard for me -- I'm just so bad at plotting out crimes and then finding clues that aren't hit-you-over-the-head-obvious. :S
I do have a plot bunny for a zompocalypse fic ... anyone up for that?
This was such a great read with the sort of casual Sam/Gene banter that felt just like something from canon, which of course only served to reinforce my view that this unspoken sexual tension is canon. For that, I salute you. *salute*
I also have to give you props for Max, who I thought was rather well-written - much like Annie, he seems resigned to discrimination in a way that moves him beyond caring so that he's able to just be his own character. And I love how he became a foil for Gene's jealousy, even though it was Gene that Max checked out during that first meeting with the whole swapping-blowjobs jab. Which cracked me the hell up, btw.

Just doing my part for the cause!
I'm glad you liked Max; I know OCs are so often touch and go, but I'm a sucker for jealous!Gene. :D
