That was absolutely brilliant & so totally in character that I could see them speaking the lines as I read it. I'm very late to this fandom & this is the first fic I've read, but WOW! You've spoiled me for anything else I'll read! I really hope you have more stashed away for me to work through...

Thanks so much. I appreciate the feedback; it's really good to hear that the dialogue worked -- it's one of the things I love most about the show, but it sure can be a challenge to emulate. :P

Oh you're in for a treat -- there are loads of brilliant authors in this fandom. I'm a johnny-come-lately myself, but I've read my own weight in really excellent fic. :D

That's good to know- thank you! If you have a minute would you mind recommending one or two authors/fics you like especially? Then I'll dive right in! :D

I'm going to cheat and give you other peoople's rec lists. I'm terrible at bookmarking and such. *g*

The crack_van's Life on Mars tag is always a good place to start, as is the fanlore page. As for specific recs, so much depends on your personal preferences, ya know? Like, there's a fair amount of Sam/Annie, and I'm sure much of it is very good, but I wouldn't know. :P

I absolutely love this story - this is my first reading of it, but I'm certain it won't be my last. I won't repeat all the parts I like (because that would be as long as story itself, LOL) but if I can refer to some of the previous comments ( ... )

Aw, thanks so much, dollface! I had a lot of fun writing it -- I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I never knew until now that what I know as 'rocket' is in fact 'arugula'.

I never actually knew it was called anything other than arugula. I didn't grow up eating much besides iceburg lettuce, so my exposure was pretty limited.
