This could well be my last unlocked post as other entries are getting hit with spam for replies. Anybody else getting that? Not sure how to combat it other than just locking all the posts

Over the past few years, my BMI started just over 30 (considered medically obese) and dropped to 27-28, and I imagine wavers around there somewhere today...
Considering you and I share similar body types, I would guess that 29 is closer than 15.
A person with a BMI or 15 doesn't need to lose or change much...
And, no, it doesn't really help much, unless it is controlled by a trainer or such... I never understood it, because as for as I know, BMI needs to account for a person's height, too...
They're not. Body fat is supposed to be just that, the actual amount of fat in your body. BMI "Body Mass Index" is a manufactured measure that is supposed to indicate how "healthy" you are in terms of weight (rather, body mass). But BMI is notorious for not taking into account whether you are athletic (and therefore have more muscle, which weighs more than fat, than the average person). Hence my BMI usually being high, on the border of normal and overweight.
It shouldn't be just guessing, it should be using electrical charges to measure your body's resistance and using THAT to figure how much fat you have.
Nothing will stop a clearly overweight person from lying, but if the point is to better yourself, then lying just defeats the purpose. It's not like insurance companies use BF% to adjust anything, so it's only for the person using the machine. If he wants to lie to himself, he's only hurting himself.
